I read Bobble’s tweet before I saw it in the Times. The club might have a coordinated briefing to to the media but Bobble is still ahead of the game and it frustrates me that someone is privy to Everton news and releases it ahead of the club’s own sanctioned release.
Whether it’s 10 minutes or 10 hours ahead it smacks of an unprofessional operation and that’s my point.
If this an employee(as rumoured) then it’s even worse as someone else is feeding him/her.
I’m also annoyed that just when we looked like we could be emerging from the gloom then this happens to Branthwaite regardless who reports it.

My feeling is Bobble would have got the info at the same time as the likes of the Times or the Echo, but it's simply quicker to write a tweet than an article. I'm pretty sure the club know exactly who he is (he works in football I believe) and most of the info he gets is fed through fairly official channels.

His source is either from the Comms team or the medical/physio team. As they're two constants that haven't changed with managers... Both would be privy to team news and medical news.

The term bobble and our club was always used whenever Adrian "Inchy" Heath didn't put away a great scoring chance.

It was said to be a "bad bobble" off the pitch, never a lack of technique, which in a lot of cases with the pitches in those times was probably fair enough.

100 per cent this. Papa Dyche will bring back his favourite child Keane in a flash.

Funny almost that the thing that's gonna guarantee Dyche getting sacked is his stubborn refusal to see that when Keane plays we more often than not get hammered.

If he starts Keane over O'Brien it's his own grave.

I actually like Dyche and can defend a lot of his decisions. But if if plays Keane, it's just idiotic. It's a 3rd season of his, where he is costing us games, on top of multiple seasons before that.

He drags everyone else down as well, Tarkowski, Young, Pickford, Mykolenko. Baffling. Outside of Martinez continuing to pick Howard, I can't think of a more stupid decision.
