You'd think he'd suffer frequent neck injuries, watching the ball fly in the net with the alarming frequency it does when he plays.Aye - I can't ever remember Keane getting injured, it's mad.

We know he suffers PTSD but funnily enough it doesn't stop him from being available for selection week in week out. You'd think he'd suffer frequent neck injuries, watching the ball fly in the net with the alarming frequency it does when he plays.
I know his name is mick that’s allWho is he and what’s his name(apart from the Bobble)?
Any indication on how serious/how long mate ?If you think club staff are ringing or talking to me to tweet stuff before publications then you are being incredibly naive. This story was going around from about 2pm and pretty much every publication had it from around 5:30pm. Football is a small world and as usual, I went at the same or similar point to when it was about to break
Agree, don't see what he gets from leaking news that ACTUAL journalists will give us pretty much the same time or earlierSoon as the takeover happens the Bobble is not gonna be getting any info whatsoever mate, TFG will clean house.
His source is either from the Comms team or the medical/physio team. As they're two constants that haven't changed with managers... Both would be privy to team news and medical news.
Sack the lot as they are better at leaking info than doing their own jobs
Do it Dan!

Any new contract will probably include a release clause for him imo. Better off keeping him on his current deal for another 12 months - it's not as if we'll be keeping him until 2027 anyway is it, plus we retain full control over his inevitable sale as it stands.
That is simply because they have to, as the Liverpool's and Man United's of this World claim that Branthwaite is dying to join them when they offer him ridiculous amounts of money which they and only a few others can afford to, due to PSR. To be honest it's like us doing it to a Championship club.
Think this is a mindset we have to get out of, particularly with a potential reboot of the club by TFG, i know its become a bit of joke term by the headbangers in the Dyche thread - but this is an area we can really show ambition.
At some point if we have ambition - we have to stop selling out best players and build around them.
Give him a 6 year contract on 180k a week and say you are captain in two years and you are the rock this club will be built on.
We need to get out of the mindset that we have to sell - we may have different resources when TFG come through the door.
I liken it Kane and Spurs they built a club around him, CL football, New Ground etc - by keeping their best plater - until the natural time came for him to leave and were compensated.
If you want to be taken seriously as a big club, you have to act like one.
Would Norway sell us Salah, Utd Fernandes, City Rodri, VIlla Watkins, Newcastle Isak, Chelsea Palmer - you take my point.
Yeah love us to be able to do that mate, but every player has a price, Ronaldo United to Real Madrid for example. If Branthwaite would accept that or near to it I would agree. But the Uniteds and Livetpools etc, would just offer even more..
