2024/25 Jarrad Branthwaite

You could wonder that Branthwaite may need a bit of time to return from injury and so its the 'safe' option to play Keane in the managers head.

However...

O'Brien hasnt really had a kick and should have been signed as 3rd choice at worst. If hes not better than Keane he needs to be Kroldrup-ped.

McNeil didnt train all week yet is deemed 'quality' by Dyche and starts...

Based off this logic Branthwaite should be starting every single game

Do we think he’s back in against wham? I think 100/100 of us put him back in, ans would have against the saints.

Sadly, I can’t be sure with this manager after his comments post match saints about the defence that played and got beat by the leagues bottom side.

What’s strange is that he’s not getting on as a sub for long. I could get that he’s been injured and we might want to bring him back slowly but bringing him on in the 88th min is hardly even doing that.

85-88th minute is a normal sub in Dycheworld - Chermiti had "10 games" last year totaling about 12 minutes. "Getting ready" or something

This is where i loose faith in Dyche and he is full own made hypocrisy, to play apparently you have to be Dyche fit, so if Braithwaite is still carrying injury should be nowhere near first team.

Dyche should be looking after our best player and asset not chucking him on to play little league football with Keane up top

Braithwaite needs to play if he is fit, he pushes us up and just a more solid outfit when he plays due to his pace and awareness, not fussed which one he drops.

"Just keep your head up, Jarrad, Michael was fantastic when we were getting pumped in pre-season by crap Irish teams, and has really excelled in these first 10 games where we're achieving less than a point a game and are conceding an average of 1.7 goals a game. You'll get plenty of games this season as soon as that drops to 0.5 points and 2.5 goals a game."

Sean Dyche - probably.
