2024/25 Jarrad Branthwaite

It’s hard to believe how lucky we are to have Dr Dyche in charge.

You’ve got to get them fit to actually play. If you put them out there too early, I thought it was a bit early for Jarrad, but the consensus was ‘no, I think he’s right to go and play,’ and then two days later he got injured again.’

Is there no end to his talents?

(Just don’t mention he got injured during one of the Gaffers 9 mile yomps while giving Woany a piggyback over Formby dunes )
Look, I have no problem easing JB back in, given he did get injured again so soon after coming back. If that's the reason Keane is still playing, I don't like it, but I can accept it.

But, if JB is 100%, he absolutely has to be starting every game.

Anything short of that is malpractice

Yeah this is it in a nutshell. I can totally believe that Branthwaite isn't actually fit enough to get through 90 minutes, having missed a lot of pre-season etc. I wasn't surprised at all that he didn't start against Fulham, but assumed the extra week would have made all the difference before Southampton. If it didn't then fair enough, if he's fit and just wasn't selected then I just can't get on board with that at all.

"He’s had one season in the Premier League. Don’t get me wrong, one very, very good season but it’s still only one season in the Premier League.

“He’s got a lot of learning to go and a lot of developing to go in my opinion
." - Dyche on Branthwaite

Seems to me like not playing your most valuable player is a sackable offence for a team in our position.

If we won the last two then Dyche has some armour but hes risked it all on Keane.

Does Dyche care if he is sacked or not?
He knows that he is gone wether it's now ,Christmas or the end of the season.
Financially he probably gets more if he is sacked now.
I doubt he ever gets a premier league job again and is unlikely to get a top championship job with the potential to go up.

Im surprised he never added at the end he can learn a lot from Michael Keane.

If he went he’d get a big signing bonus, bigger wages, almost certain first team football and a manager that believes in him.

I’d be on the phone to my agent if I were him

So we've moved on from needing premier league experience, to playing 35 games in a PL season not being enough to count towards experience? No wonder he still plays 38 year-olds, you need that many years to qualify as 'dyche-ready'.

It seems to me that (as with Allardyce) if Dyche had tried to be more expansive or even used some common sense the past 2 games then he'd be in a far better position.

A top 10 position before TFG take over and they may even have given him January.

But hes shot himself in both feet.

Absolute fool

To be honest I don't think he understands the club and dislikes the supporters, I doubt he loses a minute's sleep over getting sacked
