why do people thin Ben Foster is a good keeper all I f a sudden. He’s bang average at BEST. the amount sofr goals that go in past him.
When looking at how good a keeper is you need to look at:
- Goals concedes vs expected goals conceded
- Big mistakes leading to goal
- Save %
Don’t know where Foster ranks on these but just goals conceded as a team isn’t always a great indicator.

I think he's is. My goto on FM so that's enough for me. Seriously though, Pickford might be thicker than a bit of 2 x 4 but he's not a bad keeper, just needs competition for places. Complacency kicked in knowing he's not going to get dropped.
Romero, Foster or Cillesen would be competitive for that one spot although don't see Cillesen here without guarantee of starts. IMHO

as a fellow countryman, i'd say no too. Never strikes me as one to command his penalty area well (similar to Pickford). Besides remember he was subbed for a penaly shoot out at the WC for the Dutch natinoal team, he cant save one. There must be better available at a reasonable price.
I thought he was pretty poor at Barca. No idea about Valencia.

I don’t know if being taken off for a penalty “specialist” can be used against him really haha.
