Chances are either he or Adeniran will be starting this weekend. I just hope that 1) the fans don’t get on his back at home and 2) if they do it doesn’t hit his confidence so hard he loses all faith in himself. He needs some support. Maybe celebrate the good parts of his game with Olay’s instead of bemoaning his shortcomings

Imagine coming on unexpectedly in your first game, away from home in the premier league and then having to play next to (i don't know my position i'm just gonna chase the ball anyway) schneids. Give the guy a break, takes time to properly break-in a CM in the quickest league in the world.

Safe to say that Gbamin will NEED a playmaker alongside him in CM, as that is not his role. All his errors were dwelling on the ball looking for the right pass, he is a natural play breaker, not play maker.

Obviously needs to play faster. The lack of time on the ball was probably a shock to him, especially with a lack of training time behind him. Wouldn’t start him this weekend unless we have to.

Silva definitely got the right lad to replace Gana. Only 2 games into the campaign and he is already showing quality and a Gana like ability to tackle and win the ball back.
