Not to me. PL games and their prep are far more demanding than a pre-season friendly.

In the sense that he could easily fall on his knee in pre-season just like he has done now.

Whole positive of having him back was that he wouldn't be going into next season cold.

He's now gonna miss two seasons, in the prime of his power/fitness too (24-26).

What was Gbamin's injury record like before we signed him?
Looks like he won't be doing anything for us on a regular basis
However, the Everton manager confirmed his season was now over after suffering suspected medial ligament damage, following Lucas Digne accidentally falling on his teammate's leg in training.
Don't shoot the messenger.
Medial Knee injury.
Approx 6 weeks.

This guy would be drowning at sea and be rescued by the titanic, such bad luck.

Is it bad luck or is he made of weetabix? I mean you could argue Delph is the unluckiest man in the world when reality is he's just a crock.

Torn thigh muscle kicking a football

Ruptured achilles playing footie tennis

Knee ligament damage from someone landing on him

My worry is what happens when he plays a game and someone crashes into him going for a header or hacks him down with a sliding tackle?

Him, Delph and Gomes are not reliable and should all be moved on in the summer if possible once fit.
