2020/21 Jean-Philippe Gbamin

I honestly thought he was an athletic defensive midfielder and nothing else but he looks much more than that. Always looks to move forward with the ball from midfield and look for an outlet with a progressive forward pass.

Big heart in mouth moment where he got fouled and landed heavily straight on his left knee from height. Thankfully, bounced straight back up , no problem.

In very rare/unique circumstances like Dean Ashton I believe. I think if a player in injured for the international sides they could claim something as well.

We won't have claimed anything from Delph/Gbamin and will more than likely been hit with FFP restrictions as an extra kick in the teeth.
Has anyone told you that football is a contact sport and injuries happen? It's our fault we signed Delph he had history, Gbamin got injured in training, it happens. Obviously not in the real world where you live mind, just us fantasists. I spoke to average Joe as well, he said he wasn't expecting to be injured at work, if he is, he's a daft tit.

He never got injured in a game so I’ve not got the same fears as you lot and definitely doesn’t look weak or made of glass on the field.

Its the moments we don’t see that worry me. Bloke has the worst luck on the training pitch.

Was good yesterday, didn't know he was that type of midfielder tbh, thought he just sat back as an anchor but he's strong fast and powerful on the ball and likes to venture forward

Its going to seem very odd having him and Dacoure in the side? Everton with height in the midfield, what is the world coming to?
