Did I mention injuries? The fee, unknown reputation, lack of competition for his signing and people who had seemingly scouted him and failed on so many others in recent times were enough to convince me he'd probably turn out another expensive flop. Hardly rocket science really.
most of those reasons are just idle speculation. so bloody miserable.

Bold move. You’ll be seeing me and Fat Gaz down the pub for us to laugh at you when you’re proven wrong.
When he returns, I wonder how many people will be sat on the edge of their financed crushed velvet sofas begging him to make a high profile error.

They’ll be tripping over each other to say how they knew it all along and before anyone else. And how foolish everyone was for believing otherwise.

I'm assuming Carlo did a presser this week, did he mention this lad at all? He's GOT to be back in training ffs, he was meant to be back in mid/late November.

The press conference started a few minutes ago, Jean-Philippe Gbamin was expected to return to Finch Farm this week and the manager could provide the latest on his status, during the press conference

I've got this thread open on 25 separate tabs each with a scathing criticism for a different possible error ready to hit post and be that first person to say it. My life will feel complete for that next 5 minutes till the repayment on my new sofa comes out and plunges my bank account into the minus.
