Oh whatever, Victor Anichebe is a striker, he's not a winger. Moyes has no options on the right really, so he has to play Vic there, because he sure as hell won't play him upfront.

Why won't he play him upfront? Cos he's not good enough to be a striker. At the moment the lad has no place in the team, he is drifting along.

I don't care what anyone says, you, chico, anyone. Not arsed one little bit. I don't rate the lad, and I never will. He doesn't do enough for me and his attitude stinks. When he runs he runs in a straight line till he hits something.

Love it if he proves me wrong, but I can't see it.

That's just like saying Rodwell is a centre back, he's clearly not. Is Carragher still a striker? He certainly started off there. He isn't playing upfront because he's more effective in another position, is that hard to get your head around.

true. but vic played pretty well on the right. maybe its not his natural position, but he thrived there towards the end of the season.

So are you saying he is a Right Winger then?

That's where he plays. There are many different styles of players who are used in that position, I wouldn't call him a winger in the traditional sense, no, but that's the role he occupies and anyone with half a brain could see he's a handful out despite his unorthodox style of play.

Look mate I know he's a handful, I have a full brain - so thanks for the insinuation there. I just don't think he is good enough for the Premier League and certainly not good enough for Everton. He may well pull a goal out of his arse every so often, and he may bustle his way through dodgy European defences late in games, but his attitude is terrible.

Merseyside derby for example, he came on and first thing he did was get involved in a barney.

Other than him being a handful, what else does he bring to the table? Out of interest really.

What is the level of a Premier League player though, give me an example? I can understand your point about him not being good enough to be a starter for Everton, that's fair enough. I don't think he'll ever be a regular starter for us but there is such thing as a squad and as you always bang on about, he's a youth player, he cost us nothing. Would you rather we went out and bought these players for 1-3 million?

As for his attitude, I don't understand it to be honest. He needs to toughen up in certain situations but that's all I can see. No one ever made his out to be a headless chicken, that doesn't mean his attitude is terrible though. Players carry themselves in different ways and Victor is your typical laid back player. Do you think Moyes would keep him around if his attiude really was as bad as people make out? No, he wouldn't. And if he did he wouldn't involve him like he does, Van der Meyde springs to mind.

As for the Derby, he didn't start that barney, it was Johnny Heitinga. Anichebe was just sticking up for his teammates, which is exactly what you'd expect him to do. He's part of a team and you want them sticking up for eachother.

What does he bring to the table? Pace, strength and very decent hold up play. Have you not noticed that the ball tends to stick in the final third more when he is playing. He can shield the ball and retain it, that's very useful. It may be simple play but it gives us a chance to build.

I agree with most of that to a point. But he does have examples on his CV of poor attitude. His kick off with Moyes for a start.

Look, I know Everton fans want someone who is willing to get involved and will put in a shift over showing flashes of brilliance, I know this. I just don't reckon Anichebe always puts in a full shift. Last game of the season really riled me when he was just standing on the halfway line while his teammates were attacking and they crossed the ball in, and it landed where Victor should have been.

I notice things like this, probably more so than when he does things right - because these are the things for me that make or break a player. Especially in this league.

I am grateful that he's a squad player, and I wouldn't want Moyes to go out and spend 3m on a player like that, but I just don't rate him - which is my right as a fan, we don't always have to agree mate.

I agree with Ghost, hes badly gash, a lot of people want him to succeed and ignore how much of a lazy cnut he is.

He will find his level 1 day, maybe Leeds want him.

I don't see him as a player who has flashes of brilliance though, he doesn't. I don't understand the criticism of his involvement in games though, have a look at the amount of times Arteta finds him during a game. He's always an outlet with his back to goal trying to pin a defender in and around the box. We have a tendency to attack down the left handside all the time when the likes of Bilyaletdinov and Osman play on the right, the same can't be said when Anichebe plays there.

As for the rest of your post, fair do's, I haven't got a problem with it.

My problem with him is the fact that hes so big and strong and if he wanted to could bulldoze his way to goal everytime, nobody would stop him, but no, what does he do? He stands there crying like a little biatch.

And I defo reckon I could slot him.

Anyone just reading this final page will be thinking, since when has Beckford been playing right wing? He's only signed today!!! =)

Yeah we tend to **** off the original topic and talk about some other bollocks. Odds on this will be closed as soon as blert features starts chomping on about pineapple on pizzas and stuff.
