Read once that Moyesie was on his way to check out Beckford for PNE when he got the call from Blue Bill giving him the Everton job. If true, says he's been watching him from the go. Doesn't get cheaper than on a free...
 
Soooo... i was browsing the image gallery for him on the OS, and found out that during his loan spell at Scnuthorpe he was a ninja -

It surprised me to see that he's 6ft 2, I thought he was on the smaller side, slight and quick footed, in the Andy Johnson mould. But he's got the physical presence to go with his pace which could give him more of a chance. He's got the raw tools so to speak.

He's the type of player that will surprise you ... I can't wait to be in the position to introduce him at Anfield and let them try what they did last season... they'll get a nasty shock.

i have to say , even though his goals have come against lower league clubs that the technique is there to score some great goals.
he can shoot from distance , turn and shoot , poach , and muscle/speed his way to goal.
some of these in this vid are unstoppable regardless of the level.
