i have to say , even though his goals have come against lower league clubs that the technique is there to score some great goals.
he can shoot from distance , turn and shoot , poach , and muscle/speed his way to goal.
some of these in this vid are unstoppable regardless of the level.

True, he does have a bit of a youth footballer being outrageously good about him. At the same time tho, Lee Trundle scored some amazing goals.

I've never seen more miss-hits and flukes in one video my whole life!

Im hopefull has all the attributes to scorl goals, wheather he can make the adjustment or not remains to be seen, he has size, pace, good movement and is able to find space in the box.

Not a great lover of balls over the top to a pacey striker with one up front hopefully he can prove he has more in his locker at a higher level.

I think he will do well his first season as the unknown quanity.

When Moyes signed Cahill, how many queried this????? and questioned the player's ability. Give the lad a chance.

Definitely this.

Pienaar
Lescott
Jagielka
Cahill
Bilyaletdinov
Arteta

I'm sure many of us have either scratched our heads completely or queried the above, you just gotta see what happens kids!

I counter my mates views who say things such as "he'll just be on the bench all the time", "he's not good enough for the Premier League" with something along the lines of, "look at the likes of Cahill and Arteta before they signed for Everton, and look at them now". I really have faith in Moyes.

I will definitely give the guy a chance. as long as he shows he WANTS to play for us, understands the spirit of our club, has a good attitude, listens to Moyes...

We paid very little for him in comparison to the numbers flying round over average players or past it players, and he has proved he has an eye for goal consistantly in lower leagues...just look at his stats...

In my book, this is how footballers should progress. To get better and better and move upward and onward.

Good luck Jermaine, and score some goals for us mate...

You missed Fellaini off that list.

I remember the BBC describing it as a panic buy.
