Jesper probably had very rigid, inflexible instructions on how to play. And with little pitch time, you play tight and are prone to mistakes. Jesper today I’m very excited for. Like Jake O’Brien, it’s like seeing the studs they are for the first time.

I like the lad. He seems to be a solid worker. Has some pace and footwork. I felt for him when he struggled. He wore his emotions on his sleeve. He knew he was better than what we were seeing. And now we see it, too.

That’s really interesting. All I’ve ever thought was for Illy as a 10. But Jesper? Could be onto something.

It's clear to see he has plenty of ability, hopefully the performance today will give him a big shot of confidence. He's never really had a consistent run in the team up until now, hopefully it continues

That said I kind of think that wide right position limits him a bit tbh. Would like to see him as a 10 or even off the left with Ndiaye central

He seems a bit hit and miss on the ball, but a player like him can always contribute if the motivation to keep working hard is there.

Basically it’s criminal that he’s been frozen out of the team for Harrison, who has frankly stunk the place out with his displays this season. Of course Lindstrom hasn’t played like he did today under Dyche, but he wasn’t given a chance.
