I'm cautious to say this guy is the real deal just based on a good hour today. But it was so refreshing someone who could run with the ball playing on the right. Let's hope he backs it up.

Very good today. Just needed to have less restrictions on his position. Just let him run about as long as he tucks back when we lose it, he’s a good player. Who knew a manager telling you are a good player and not just making the best of what crap we have available since before my time could increase confidence?
Looks like yet another player where you can see the Goodison penny drop - crowd will forgive a lot more when they can see physical determination plus at least attempts to create something, even if it doesn’t always come off. Mutual circle of appreciation then developes. The best performers at Goodison have always had this relationship with the stands.
