Is he quicker than we thought?
He's definitely quicker than a fat man running for the bus, but he's not as quick as professional burgler running away with his bag of swag.

Mavididi has played over 50 games for Leicester so should be very comfortable.
He's also 27 yrs old and played for some huge clubs in his career. He was up against a ring rusty Garner , would have been very different against a fully fit Coleman.
Lindstrom has played in 2 games for us and at 24 yrs old has a lot of developing to do .
He's got everything we have wanted in a wide forward for a long time. Pace , Carries the ball , great first touch and puts defenders on the back foot.
Once he comfortably settles this lad will be a very good signing for us.
I'le be honest I'd never heard of Mavididi until recently , he hasn't pulled up many trees wherever he's been .Mavididi played very well and i was very impressed with him. But the point you make you can also make about Lindstrom hes not Harrison Armstrong breaking through, hes equally played in big leagues at big clubs and the in the Champions League.
Im not the Lindstrom executioner by any means mate, im perfectly happy to give the lad time and hope he grows into the league, i just didnt think he impacted the game yesterday or thus far in the way other people seem to, im very much open minded but on the fence about him. I want him to come good.

He did very well , but up against a true full back I don't think he's allowed to play that way like yesterday.
Thought he was pretty anonymous 1st half tbh.
But we'll see , I think Lindstrom has a really high ceiling once he settles in.
That's if Dyche allows it to happen.
Hope your right mate.
On Mavididi I have a memory of him at Arsenal but he was younger to be honest, he went off my radar until yesterday - he was very, very good i thought, be interesting to see how he does over a season.
Funny how dyche picks and chooses when a player is "dyche fit", match ready or running on fumes during a match and whether they need to come off. He seems to make it up depending on nothing more than how much he likes the player.Mavididi improved as the game went on, last twenty minutes he was causing a tiring James Garner more problems, Dyche admitted later that he played whilst ill. It's a shame then that Dyche never replaced Garner late on as he has now admitted he knew Garner was ill.
None of my post can be proven to be BS because I haven’t made any prediction on whether or not he will be a success. All people are saying is he has shown some things to suggest he might be a useful player for us. Which most of the new signing have. N’Diaye has clearly had the best start. Tim has done some excellent things and looks like he has lots of ability but also looks a bit raw in some aspects of play. Mangala looks like a he is a good receiver/distributor but maybe not the most mobile. JL looks to have good pace and movt but poor end product. Without making stellar starts they have all looked like they might be useful.Id agree with the assessment of Bernard and Billy - clearly good technical players, i dont agree as yet with Lindstrom that he deviates from the limits those players expierenced. Its not a hill i want to die on and im very fluid in my thinking, but im not at all convinced he is suited to this league, that he will impact on it and have an Everton career or wont ultimately be comparable in his Everton career to the two B's.
Im not writing the lad off - i hope im wrong, i didn't see what others are seeing in him yesterday - though he grew into the game somewhat and began to fade again, im on board with going him time and letting him adjust and very much hope my indicative reaction in wrong.
Ill be back to call out this post if it turns out to be BS in the future, its just my take as the crow flies!
It’s a foolish person who talks in definites given the limited time he has had here or in the league.

I meant I’ll be back to correct myself if my take is BS mate as opposed to yours mate!
One good game doesnt count for development.….oh, he will. Indeed, he already is.
How quick did you think he is?Is he quicker than we thought?
