He grew into the game mate.

Thought he was out of his depth first half.

His best moments today I thought were tracking back - he has a way to go to convince he’s worth 20 mill in the summer.

Got his offensive stats here also mate.

Lindstrom: touches 46 (88 mins); pass completion 90%, cross completion 3 of 9; key passes 2; long balls 0 of 0; shots on target 1 of 2; xG 0.09; xA 0.14; dribbles 1 of 1; fouled 2

Ndiaye: touches 27 (in 62mins); pass completion 83%; cross completion 0 of 1; key passes 0; long balls 0 of 0; shots on target 1 of 1; xG 0.07; xA 0.0; dribbles 1 of 2; fouled 2

McNeil: touches 45; pass completion 71%; cross completion 1 of 4; key passes 2; long balls 3 of 8; shots on target 0 of 0; xG 0.0; xA 0.09; dribbles 4 of 6; fouled 1

Ndiaye is another no.10 like Lindstrom. Both playing on the wings when they are not wingers

.thought he tracked back well today actually, one particular tine especially second half when they had two players in wide on the counter

Lindstrom and Ndiaye clearly have fantastic technical ability and remind me of players in the champions league who can dictate the play for a european side against premier league opposition.

For me, Ndiaye can do a job and look threatening on the left and i think it may be because hes used to the English game -- looks a 10 to me though.

Lindstrom new to the league and used out wide seems to have a good dead ball & cross in him and clearly is a good passer...tracked back well and as @bluestevon says that moment he got back could have led to a goal. He looks a clear 10 in this league and would need runners around him.

The one of the 3 who didnt look at 10 today was McNeil.

Didn’t think any of them played well today, felt the game swallowed him up first half, but he grew into and improved the second.

Personaly I’d still like for him to convince me mate.

If you dissect his game and separate 1st & 2nd half what would you say was the difference in what he was doing?

He was night and day I thought.

Honestly second half I thought he battled more.

You can have quality, but you have to earn the right, to express that quality. I thought he started letting others know he wouldn’t be pushed around, left some on people, tracked back, kept the shape, then he began to get space.

Like I say you have to earn the right and make others hesitant.

I think his management in Italy and now England is really poor as he looks a 10. Made his name as an inside right and has been used as a right winger.

I think he looks like (same with Ndiaye) a difference maker who can feed the CF -- not a wide player.
