2024/25 Jesper Lindstrom

Trying to find something I think he looks like he has in his game.

Best I can do is he looks like he can strike a ball, but he needs a month to think about it first.

Think he finds space well, think he does good one touch passing and gives options, think he sees the correct run and makes the right pass at times.
Problem is we don't do one touch passing, we do t do good runs in behind - he played one today which should have been right in Doucoures path, only he never made the run ...

He looks way better when drifting central though, hugging the touchline a bit like Ndiaye just neuters their game.

Just once would like to see them both playing bloody off a cf

I mean, hes not a winger and is still playing out of position. Until he gets played as a 10 hard to know if he will be any good. Not terribly shocking that playing him in the same position he was poor at instead of the position he was good at isnt a recipe for success.

Happens, and confidence is massive.

Didn't like his physical sulking though. Doesn't bode well for getting through bad spells.

Saw it in one game, since he got subbed at HT think he's worked as hard as anyone getting back defensively

Yeah he repeats that palace strop then I'll hold my hands up about him.

Looks neat and tidy at times, but I see very little threat. Goals and assists seem unlikely to come, as his last season showed. To be fair to him, it can’t help playing alongside Dac, but I still don’t see Lindstrom ever being good enough.

Will say one thing though, the longer Dyche is here the less chance the lad comes good. But Ndiaye will stat wise just look like a tricks and no end product player as well as doubt he'll get more than 4-5 in the league played out wide all season under Dyche

Thought he did wel, enough today myself, again grew into the game and adjusting to the league in pace and physicality.

Still not sure he’s the rain maker - but was a better more balanced performance today.

He played some nice link up play but his final ball or decision making was found wanting. He was very guilty of overplaying a couple of times when he should have took a shot. The same can be said if Ndiaye. Opened up for him after some great work but tried overplaying.
