Yes and he would rightly be booed until he started running just like his first stint here.….would Iwobi walk into this team?

He's an average player who will be average anywheredyche football
watch him turn to messi under a new manager
Probably a better player than Harrison and this chump, was running down a contract and we got a decent offer for an average player, no one could complain about that decision imo….would Iwobi walk into this team?

Had a lovely assist for Fulham this weekendHe does. As does a fair few more who we had when we relied on final home games to stay up.
Is the right answerIwobi doing better at Fulham under Marco Silva.
Onana much better for Villa under Unai Emery.
Gordon flying at Newcastle under Eddie Howe.
Marvelous what good coaching can do.

I’m not an expert on his career but I don’t think he is necessarily a ‘central’ player is he? From what I read of him when we signed him he’s played mostly wide but he just isn’t a winger as such. A bit like pienaar, Bernard etc in that sense.Attacking central player looks crap playing out wide in a negative and grim defensive formation shock. No interest in the full back behind helping him with any attacking play whatsoever either.
Why have both he and Ndiaye been shunned for the central positions they both favour for McNeil, Doucoure and even Harrison ffs? Not going to judge him too harshly yet but he’s miles better and far cleverer than both Harrison and Doucoure at playing football, shame the team isn’t setup to play football.
He has excelled when played centrally in his career, especially at Frankfurt. They flipped him for a massive profit to Napoli on the back of those performances, he even won an award for being “best rookie/ new player in the Bundesliga” (or something like that, cba to check so might be talking rubbish). just like Ndiaye who won a player of the year at his club playing centrally, who has then struggled after a move when shoved out to the wing with absolutely no fluidity in team structure.I’m not an expert on his career but I don’t think he is necessarily a ‘central’ player is he? Fair enough, like I say I haven’t really followed his career I just read that he usually played on the right for Frankfurt just not as an actual winger but if that was wrong ignore me.He has excelled when played centrally in his career, especially at Frankfurt. McNeil has never played there until this season, Harrison is absolutely comical played centrally and Doucoure is an athlete with no vision and a limited footballing skill set.
The question is obviously, when you have 2 new attacking team members who have proven to excel in a more central area would you not give them minutes there when it’s very easy to do so? Would a familiar position aid their integration into the team/squad especially when others are given infinite chances to play so badly there? Why would you overlook those players for Jack Harrison, who has done exactly what in his career centrally ffs? I want someone to call him out on it and then revel in the nonsense he spouts.
This is from me only reading things about him too mate. I’ve seen glimpses that he can play, I’ve also seen glimpses that he might have the heart the size of a pea but I’ve seen a few players failing to hide just how fed up they are this season already.Fair enough, like I say I haven’t really followed his career I just read that he usually played on the right for Frankfurt just not as an actual winger but if that was wrong ignore me.
