Because there is no money...TFG is also to blame here...we could have had a decent summer transfer window, but them playing hard to get means that the squad is what it is until January.

No money so you spend most of it on a 4th choice CB and a number 10 you don’t need? That doesn’t make sense. Was just rank bad recruitment.

Ndiaye was money well spent. O'brien was an opportunity at a cheap price that wouldn't get you any decent creative attacking player, so I understand, especially with united circling over the summer around braithwaite. We needed to spend more, but we couldn't because TFG pulled out

Surely you sign players in priority positions. Like the Chermiti signing - we aren’t good enough right now to spend our money on players for 3 years time.
Absolutely loads of decent attacking players have been bought for less than we paid for O’Brien. Brentford, Brighton and others do it lots.

No. I thought he was OK also. The problem is that he is shoehorned into a position that he couldn't play at Napoli. We haven't got any wingers that can get to the byline and cross nor beat a man with pace. Doesn't bode well

We bought players on credit over many seasons, and chermiti is no different. You want a top quality player, you are looking at closer to 30 millions or more, something we do not have.
