What did Thelwell see in him

An opportunity to take a punt on a player who could potentially turn their career around for free. That's where we are at as a club. Not great signs so far like.

Had plenty of opportunity to try and beat the player but constantly played the ball backwards rather than putting a cross in.

It’s difficult at the moment to see what it is he’s supposed to offer. Some players you can see the quality or the theory behind what they’re supposed to do, but he just looks really nothingy. Hoping there’s more to come if he finds his feet but he’s not an easy watch at the moment.

37 games and 1450 minutes actually.

As a funny compassion though we have a CF in DCL who went over 1450 minutes last season without scoring....

So yeah not gonna bang on Lindstrom for not scoring in 400 minutes when we start every game a CF who went over 3.5 times that without getting one - think even that was a pen as well

Why on earth we bothered signing him when we needed an actual winger is anyone’s guess.

Thelwell is every bit as much to blame as Dyche.

Because we needed an actual attacking mid too mate.

Dyche in his wisdom goes nah I'll play a winger or cm there instead

Because there is no money...TFG is also to blame here...we could have had a decent summer transfer window, but them playing hard to get means that the squad is what it is until January.

Yeah sorry but not gonna blame the new owners for not prioritising signings a few better players over doing a much better deal to buy the club, be worried if they didn't

He could play bundesliga fine and the standard is pretty similar.
