2024/25 Jesper Lindstrom

Love you mate, but on this lad v Harrison I'll always argue that Lindstrom is massively a better player - younger, played at a higher level, way more upside.

Btw brother shared some interesting stats the other day, per minute he's created more good chances than any other player in the team.

….no doubt who has more quality but the bottom line is Lindstrom has been largely disappointing. It’s a bit of a quandary because he looks fine at times and then really poor (he said himself in an interview that he was sh*t).

Kicks a ball well, so good set-piece option when he’s on the pitch and I thought exactly the same as you about partnership with Coleman those last 20mins.

So, he’s better than Harrison but in terms of effectiveness both are very inconsistent. I get the impression Dyche really wants Lindstrom to claim that RW spot but it’s really up to him to do it (there’s not much ahead of him).

Good assesment mate, and for me the key to any winger is the fullback.

Pienaar without Baines was basically dog turd.

Steven and Stephen worked like poetry.

I still think he's not a winger and never will be, but with the right fullback he can get inside a lot more and basically operate more like a wide forward.

Did well when he came on for a change still really not my cup of tea but did have a go.maybe because Seamus was behind him and would of kicked his arse..

He's a good footballer technically but doesn't really know how to play football in a team if that makes sense. Lots of ability but how much does he want it? Definitely a lot of self doubt and low on confidence, hopefully a good manager instills some belief in him and the fans get behind him instead of crying about a lack of quality options up top.

Think he’s starting to get English football.

Huge improvement in attitude from his first few league games.
Exactly this

Coming into this league can take a season or 2 to adjust.
Look at Mateta , looked a donkey for a good while but has really settled now and looks a genuinely good player , there's plenty more like him.
Lindstrom has come on leaps & bounds this last month or so.

Thrown on fresh today, chased down the ball, put himself about, tried very hard in the window afforded him. Exactly what chelsea didn't need. Seems he listened to his boss and ran himself to death for the cause.

Th best example i can think of is Drogba, he looked an utter cart horse when he first came over and turned out pretty good in the end :)
