Maybe because he is “mr social media” with his 10 million Followers and the club in Saudi think it will raise their profile globally. Plus their league is so poor he will probably score every week

Depends on the contract really. I've no real problem if we've put an offer on the table of what we think he's worth, then it's up to him if he wants to come play for us. I doubt we would or could get near the number his agent was apparently demanding but if he wants to play for Everton on a fair wage rather than end his career in the States or Saudi for some extra cash then he'd definitely add something to the squad.
