He’s still a good player as he showed at West Ham. Probably be particularly good for a team like ours with no goals in it. He’s better than Gray or Townsend - get rid of both of them and replace their wages with his and we’d be better. Still don’t really want to sign him though, just says more about how very poor our current squad is.

He had a good 6 month spell, but that was over a year ago. He's been bang average his whole career before and since, and was quite happy to go back to being a squad player at United rather than play regularly elsewhere.
Now he's apparently open to offers from USA and Saudi so long as the offer is right, when he could easily have signed for a number of clubs in the Prem if he wanted to play at the top level. I'd rather we sign players who actually want to be here and play for us, not just more pay cheque chasers.

With a big tiktok following, you could actually lose a football match 2-1, but still gain three points from that match later in the season. It's very complexed but I've seen it happen before
