Very rarely controlled games due to the weak central midfield, we where decent yes.

I'd back this side to beat that one. And Yobo played ahead of Baines, Lescott was at left back. Pienaar was on the left and Arteta was on the right.

I don't think you can just put Saha out wide for the hell of it really mate, especially if Pienaar is on the other side. He could play in a front three, but not wide in a five man midfield. Other than that I think Fellaini and Arteta would be alright playing centre mid, I think Mikel is good enough to do the defensive work on his own. I'd still start Yak above Saha and Jo, but it'd be very tempting to play 4-4-2 with Yak and Saha or Yak and Jo with Cahill and Arteta centre mid. I'd go with the team that played against Bolton just with Yak instead of Jo if I was pushed.

Yak's out for the season. Thats why me and Toccy haven't used him.

That was my point, Pienaar isn't a wing forward is he. You can't have one formation one side and a different one on the other. Stop trying to fit him in.

Pienaar played there for Ajax quite a few times, as an advanced winger with Van der Meyde on the other side. Ofcourse he can play there.
