Don't get carried away would be my message. Bolton were beyond dire and I'd like to see him up against some semi-decent centre halfs, and for more than a mere 90 minutes, before a proper judgement can be passed. But if we continue to play quality football I've no doubt he'll keep scoring.
Keep it on the deck and we'll keep winning.

Agreed.

Yup i hats them Brazialian international centre forwards who score two goals on their debuts.

Seriously though i thought he looked great yesteray and after watching him play a few times for City their was a marked difference yesterday. He played with a smile on his face.

I know, i know you cant tell after one game but the signs are good, and im very hopefull. Yesterday was the first game in donkeys i actually remember us haiving a threat through the centre, and not just whipping balls in over and over hoping we get on the end of the one. This was refelcted int he score line, at times yesterday we bambozzeled Bolton, they didnt know where the end threat would come from and in fairness to them there not at all shabby at the back.

You can guess why?

A striker is a must for me, Moyes is going to have to make some bold moves. He's got options.:)

He may not mate, with suspenions and all i think if they come to pass, the squad may be tested to the full.

Either way Moyesy will stick with a winning team, but i know what you mean with jo cup tied who ever comes in will have to hit the bar.

If Cahill picks up another Yellow or Arteta/Neville then Fellaini comes in (not forgetting about Castillo, Gos, or Rodders), could be a case of just finding yourself in a winning team, which we know Moyesy isnt keen on changeing.

If anything i think its easier for Moyes, if the teams winning keep the same team, if its not then heads roll, no complaints.

The compititon is the squad at the mo with the addition of Jo, Baines, AVM and the young lads (also with Saha coming back) seems intense and probably as good as it has been all season, can only be good for us and the manager.

They get a clean slate soon don't they? I'm sure it's in Febuary.

For it's a case of Saha or Jo, Cahill or Fellaini and Osman or Gosling. If we want to keep the right balance and shape. I hope he doesn't mess it up by trying to keep all his big names in.

Van der Meyde, Gosling, Jo and Rodwell have all made it more competitive after there positive contributions in the last few games. It'll be interesting.

Saha is back against Villa according to Cal.

I'm not worried about Villa to be honest. Especially without Barry. Our recent performances have put me back into my usual mode of expecting us to win every game if we're at home.

Really, only a good thing, but i doubht hed do the 90!

The amnesty i think is in the last week of Feb its usualyy around the 28th if i remember right, if i was betting id bet at least one of the current central three picking up at least one, but who knows.

To be honest mate, id change things a little, id have Fellaini, Cahiill and Jo in the same side. I know you dont agree with me on that but as id prob shift Arteta out wide not because i dont like him in the centre but because i think he smart enough to play a game of switching positions pushing out wide when defending and coming inside when attacking, anyway thats just me! I know you wouldnt have that!

Arteta moving outwide would end our season, he's the main reason we are playing well and it's because he's playing in the middle, the most important part of the pitch.

I think Cahill and Fellaini could play in the same midfield but it wouldn't benefit the side, Hibbert at right back and Neville and Arteta in the middle makes us much more solid.

We'll see really, I hope Moyes goes for balance instead of trying to fit all the big guns in.
