....Virginia looks a similar size and type to Pickford.
What, full of himself, erratic and a bellend ?
Bit harsh on the lad !

Think he's a couple of inches taller, looks to have a bigger frame too....Virginia looks a similar size and type to Pickford.

Doesnt look like a result of incest either
Must start Stekelenburg against Chelsea - a statement I'd never have believed I'd ever have to type.
Hand Virginia his debut in another game.
Maybe Chelsea is throwing him at the deep end?Why not just hand Virginia a start? I'm not sure I ever want to see Stekelenburg in goal again, awful memories of Koeman!
Agreeing here.Maybe Chelsea is throwing him at the deep end?
I'd rather him than Pickford though.
I'd literally take any professional GK over Pickford.Agreeing here.
Plus Stek might be a memory of Koeman, but he's an alright keeper who's proven he can at least, well, keep.
Still not Virginia tho, would be nice if we threw him in the deep end and he shines, but I'd rather he gets an 'easier' debut.I'd literally take any professional GK over Pickford.
You appear to have missed the sarcasm....I have never heard of him. That’s interesting, great opportunity here for you to tell us which games you’ve seen of him that allowed you to form the opinion he’s not that good.
We signed him at 18 , 19 now and the games I’ve seen him play at U23s level he’s the best young goalkeeper we’ve had for years. The perspective is though that this is U23s level, it’s a bit different commanding your area and claiming crosses , which he does well, compared to having a big PL striker giving you a clattering. It would be foolish to drop Pickford for him, but if we end up with an injury or red card requiring a keeper to step in as one off then I’d go for Virginia over Stek.
Agreeing here.
