I just think it's simple knowledge whether you're into the youth teams or not. Especially considering Tyrer played in pre-season.

Hes been on the bench a few times, I honestly wouldn't recognise the lad if he walked in front of me.

So perhaps we should introduce a worthiness test to be a true blue supporter ? ... or perhaps we can all enjoy the blues to whatever level suits our own lives and choices

Where did I insinuate anyone is less of a blue than others? Merely wondered how people don't know the name of our U23's keeper that we've all watched in pre-season.

Literally this. I used to know all the youth team players now I only know Tyrer (who may not even be U21’s) Onyango and Small because they were on the bench that time. I couldn’t tell you a single women’s player either. I’m slightly less arsed about Everton these days and I’m probably happier for it

I just assume the youth team win their league every year yet inexplicably never make it to the big boy team

....Andy Rankin won us a penalty shoot out when he came in for Gordon West. Hopefully the same can happen here, although Andy Rankin was very decent.

....from what I’ve seen, Virginia isn’t very good. We’ve got 3 poor goalkeepers & its s matter of who is the least worst. I’d say Virginia is the worst.

We really need some decent keepers in the squad. If Virginia is highly thought of, he’d have been given a new deal by now. Let’s hope he just has a worldy tonight, but I’d be disappointed if he gets a new contract.

If hes not as good as Olsen then this could be a cricket score...

Cant see what posters see in Olsen.

Hes still a very young lad, so if it goes badly, well its not the end, but we should have a good idea of whether the lad will make it here after today.

That would be a big step up for Leban , I don’t think he’s even got U23s minutes yet , it would certainly be a marker on being highly rated if so.
