It's not really true that.

Jan Oblak - 6'2"
Marc Andre ter Stegen - 6'2"
Keylor Navas - 6'1"
Ederson - 6'2"
Yann Sommer - 6'0"

All top goalies (Virginia is seemingly taller than all of them).

Olsen is 6'5" or so.

Even going back through time there are a lot more good average sized goalies than people realize. Dino Zoff was only 6 foot, Gordon Banks 6'1", Rinat Dasayev 6'2" etc.

Think that’s his point, though, they’re all special.

Not kids who’d only played one league cup game before today and didn’t get a go at Reading.

Definitely should be our 3rd choice keeper next season. Use him in the EFL Cup next year. Don't send out on loan its not beneficial one mistake and he would be dropped. Maybe save us spending a fortune I think him, Pickford and Olsen might be good enough for next season.

They can't all be special...

Small goalies can't be good unless they are actually good is basically what is being said there. Really it doesn't make much sense. It's like saying tall goalies are generally boss unless they are crap...

If he plays Saturday I just hope he isn't to blame for any of the goals as some on here will hang draw and quarter him. If he has a worldy game it will be interesting to see what happens when the other 2 get fit. Sometimes an opportunity can arise and it can be the making or breaking of the player just hope whichever way it goes people don't go to overboard.

Just play him who knows he might turn out decent and save us some £££.
I thought he did quite well coming in mid game, It wasn't plain sailing and he did have some slippery moments but it's par for the course.

He’s the new Nev. The Big Vig.
