I said it after the U21 game vs Sunderland and, sadly, I'll say it again.

He went AWOL AGAIN. There really is no excuse to watch the ball get pumped into the middle for the (Sunderland) striker to pass it into the net from 6 yards - at least die trying. Tonight my first impression was he did half-ok in pushing the guy wide (though I also thought he might have won the ball in the first place) but to basically turn your back on the play and present a soft chance to the striker was just plain awful. Either he's rubbish or he's not coached properly - and furthermore his instinct should be to rely on his defenders to cover the goal line when he has to come out.. so, sadly on this evidence he's just not good enough.

Not good again. He gave up a ton of goals at Wigan but the League 1 defense he had in front of him had plenty to do with that. There are some players who suck when they don't play every week (Heitinga) maybe its that becasue while he's not great he should be way better than this.

Going against the grain here but I thought it was an excellent finish by the Kraznodar striker, totally gave him the eyes. Robles positional sense may have been suspect but ill judge him properly after he get's a prolonged run in the side, Howard has been useless this season so really wanted Robles to have a stormer.

He's clearly got not confidence and neither have those around him...or co-ordination..or handling...or spatial awaness....

Ffs it's like sending a family pet out the 'farm'
