Joel is beginning to grow on me due to recent performances. Certainly not saying that I want him as our number one yet.

However, he's challenging for it. Howard should definitely not walk straight back into the starting XI.

Will be very disappointed if Howard walks back into the side.

Robles has claimed more high balls in the last 3 games than Howard all season.

He won't.

Robles is Bobby's man and the shirt is now his to lose.

I was so relaxed when those high balls were coming in.....I just knew he would take them cleanly and get the ball up the field in a hurry.

It was always premature to judge him without a run of games and a consistent pairing in from of him.

He has looked very good recently, so happy for him. Let us hope he keeps it up in the derby and against the firepower of Chelsea.

One thing that stood out last night was his athleticism which has never been a strong point of TH.

I feel he has earnt his place for the rest of the season. At best it will confirm him as our number one for next season. If not up to scratch we are no worse off as we need to recruit a new goalkeeper anyway in the summer.

Another good commanding performance, much more communication and decisiveness today.

No co-incidence that Jags had his best game in a good while also today.

A fit Howard on the bench should push Robles even further to maintain his place. Would be extremely harsh and probably counter productive for Howard to replace Robles on the back of his recent performances.
