I'm not sure who people expect us to buy if Robles isn't good enough, 6m on David Marshall? He's 29 and has played 1 season in the top flight, how is that an improvement on Robles? But of course everyone thinks he's amazing because of some MOTD highlights last year

This Norwegian lad, who had even heard of him 2 weeks ago?

I'd rather we spent what money we have in the kitty on a winger and creative midfielder than waste it on another keeper when we have a 24 year old who already looks better than Tim Howard ever was

Calm down a bit I wouldn't go that far!

Howard has been excellent at times in his Everton Career.

Ruined a decent post with that one.

Gotta build confidence. Don't think the back 4 believed in him and he never wanted to give them grief back.

But after that West Ham game I think he's earned his stripes and settled. He's shouting at defenders and commanding his area, ploughing through people on corners.

He's not the finished article, but these clean sheets and big saves only helps.

His decision-making and gathering of the ball have definitely improved, surely down to confidence. Still needs to work on a few things like his kicking but he's definitely looked better during this run of games than Howard has looked all season. Unless something absolutely disastrous happens in the derby then Howard shouldn't even have a half a claim of getting back in.
