So far this season, he's played four matches against Premier League clubs: Newcastle, Norwich, and Man City (twice). We've won two of those matches and conceded five goals. Let's hold off for a few matches before declaring our goalkeeping problems solved.

Let's not. He's probably done more for us in that game yesterday than Howard has in his 10 years here. Probably our 2nd greatest keeper ever.

Robles is better and should start, but agreed let's wait a bit. Against the same teams (City twice, Newcastle, and Norwich), Howard has conceded a grand total of 3 goals. Let's get a larger sample size shall we?

You again FGS he keeps a clean sheet and you moan!
Everything about his game last night was totally different than Tims as that would not be hard to do oh and he came out for the ball we attacked quicker, the defence a bit wobberly still kept a clean sheet - I f Tim plays well I praise him you just throw stats at Robles yet another win and a clean sheet that's the best stat!

Hello there.

He's so dreamy.

Only a run of ten games that we will know if Robles is good enough - the defence looked happier last night, he commanded his box , his distribution a major plus for our team!
Distribution and he seems a lot more decisive.

Was interested yesterday to read that he was Spain's u21 preferred choice ahead of De Gea until injury struck.
