There's absolutely no reason for him to come running out of his six yard box for that ball. I still can't understand why he did it. I had hoped he had gotten these erratic decisions trained out of him by now. Someone in the match thread said he hadn't been great these past few games but I think a lot of that comes down to the changing back four in front of him for the past month. This goal today though was just a pure moment of madness.

Very bad error for the pen headless chicken even attempting to come out for that ball no need - that the Robles who first came to the team an age agin it was not fatal but could have been - Burnley looked to quick for our defence today 3-1 flattering score line but a win is a win - Robles in the first half dropped a ball a bad game for him made some stops , but that looked like a rookie keeper today like the defence all over the place at times!
Burnley played like that at a field and were unlucky - Valencia changed the game for us with Ross showing how good he really is!

...I have supported him but that was a woeful decision to tackle a player moving away from goal that resulted in a penalty. I'm happy that we get somebody else in but I'm not seeing much better than we're linked with in this league.

You can tell he is feeling the pressure now. He had a really good stretch of keeping, but after a few mistakes he is trying too hard and it is costing him. He is lucky that our team has been so prolific; he looks mentally weak.

Genuinely a dreadful player and carried by a decent side.

When a keeper makes a mistake it is always a disaster, I feel for him because coming off the line is one of his strengths, but he got that one wrong today. I like Joel and would keep him, but he is not first choice.

What a rediculos pen to give away. I've never altered my opinion on this lad. A good number two to buy not good enough to be our number one if we ever really want to compete. We badly need an upgrade in the summer.
