Joel Robles

piss poor decision making that today. He'll look back on the mistakes he's made these few games and he'll be kicking himself that it's avoidable mistakes that will probably cost him the number 1 slot next season

I had been getting optimistic about Joel as next season's number 1 until the Spurs game when he failed to perform when most needed.
After today, I'm sorry to say, I'm not even convinced he's good enough to be Number 2 considering he could get a long run in goal through injury.
Doubt we have the funds for 2 keepers but RK will now surely demand real investment in a new number 1.

Supported him for a long time but that's it now, that today was just unforgivable stupidity which on any other day could have cost us points. For me it's settled the debate once and for all, he's not good enough. New keeper in the summer a priority.

I don't think anyone sensible could rate him or make excuses for him anymore.

Genuinely a dreadful player and carried by a decent side.
One bad game it was like a young reserve keeper out there today - then the guy fans recon we should buy at the other end never left his line much !
Looking at Robles today only Holgate in that back five was steady - Robles was a nervous wreck today he had a terrible game at least I admit it after the UNT game away where he played well his moaning posters about him stayed of this thread.
Today he may get dropped, may do him good!

There's absolutely no reason for him to come running out of his six yard box for that ball. I still can't understand why he did it. I had hoped he had gotten these erratic decisions trained out of him by now. Someone in the match thread said he hadn't been great these past few games but I think a lot of that comes down to the changing back four in front of him for the past month. This goal today though was just a pure moment of madness.
Clear mistake to come running out but compounded it further with a moment of utter idiocy by diving in when the player had turned his back and could have been shepherded away from goal.
This coming after we'd just taken the lead and the momentum in a match that the opposition were making very difficult.
Unfathomable. Lucky not to cost us 2 points today.

He is the best keeper I've ever seen who keeps cleans sheets when the opponents dont shoot.

Seriously, he is not good enough.

Hahahahahahahaha he kept De Gea out at Youth level.

But but but he kept a clean sheet against Man City once!!!!! He's clearly Great!!!!

No I don't think anyone who isn't infatuated with him could argue that he is good enough for us

So haveI the gloater are out in force, but he had an awful game as did our defence - RK needs a hell a
Of younger players at the back Jags, Williams , and Baines got run ragged today but Robles just lost the plot twice- in the first half he flapped, and then that stupid pen - stupid!
