for me,that means his agent has forced him to do it,when he didnt really want to,as we have heard so many times he loves it at Everton, that's what i take of it

My take exactly mate.

A lot of good sourced people have said he's happy & loves it here but the pressure from the Media/Chelsea had turned his head and affected him.

His agent seen the money on offer and wanted a slice, constantly in his ear, the press constantly piling on the pressure, he's only 21yrs old!

I think he loves it at Everton, but then again did want the move to Chelsea. His agent probably saw the chance for big pay-day and convinced him that it was best to put in a request and get the move now than risk not getting it at all. Stones probably thinks it might be his best chance to get to a title-challenging team sooner rather than later. Suppose it was playing on his mind and there was a lot of pressure, and decided to do it.

I don't blame him. I don't blame Everton, or even Chelsea. If it is his agent who has told him to do it, then he's had some very bad advice. The lad has been put under a lot of pressure and mostly dealt with it perfectly. The sooner Tuesday is over the better (as long as he's still here, we've managed to somehow get rid of McGeady, and we've signed a boss No.10)

Hardly. He would have walked into that Chelsea team, won stuff and made twice as much doing it. It would have been a good move for him, make no mistake. He signed a contract with us though and we were right not to sell him.
