John Stones transfer saga

This isn't going to happen, which is the good news, the bad news is seems a few have been waiting for the opportunity to have a good moan and fully expect to see lots of daft hotheaded comments coming out over the next few days about the player and the club in general.

Twitter is already a troll comedy to be avoided, Facebook is hilarious with the bait taking, lets hope the forums can stay level headed.

I have every confidence that Everton will not sell this summer. Chelsea will no doubt come back with an improved bid. My main concern is that all this speculation will unsettle one of our best players. Its happened before and it affects a players form.

Thats my main worry with all of this.

Glad I have been watching the golf and cricket and missed this till now. Hope we don't sell him but deep down I know we will.

Pretty impressive words from Stones the other day about fighting for his place.

I've seen that picture dozens of times, but have only now just realised that there's an unnecessary possessive apostrophe in the word ALWAYS.

Cool story bruh.

If was advising John Stones I’d tell him to stay at Everton rather than move to Chelsea.

He’s a good young player and has a bright future, but look at the Chelsea defence - John Terry is going to play another season, Gary Cahill will mostly likely play alongside him and Branislav Ivanovic is a monster at right-back and you’re not going to get him out of the side.

Stones needs to be playing regularly and at Everton he’ll get that. England also need him to be playing as often as possible and Everton are a good, big club with a good manager. They may have had a disappointing campaign last season but they’ll do better this year.

We had a look at him when I was at Spurs but we didn’t go for him as we had Kyle Walker, but if I could offer any advice to him I’d tell him to stay put and keep on learning.
