Stones is doing his talking on the pitch by not letting all the media speculation distract him into dropping his standards, that is all you can want from a player really.

They are bidding because they want him, simple.

The fact they are using the media to leak their bids is showing you their approach, they are wanting to turn the lads head, simple as that.
