Disagree mate, why are you so negative about your fellow fans?

Honestly if he's not just being a troll, I think there is a contingent of fans who use it as a coping mechanism so they aren't disappointed.

The under promise/over deliver Moyes years have wrecked so many to see things in a positive light. It's why they cringe at Martinez's positivity.

he's going nowhere lads.

Nowhere.

Don't make me hate you...I don't want to hate you.

What a small club mentality our supporters have. 63 pages of insecurity.
The club is changing but the mindset of many hasn't. We're a club that doesn't need to sell (Thanks Sky!) For all of the boards shortcomings, our debt is now very manageable.

Without a release clause, we're not going to sell a player unless it's overwhelmingly beneficial.
Even if Chelsea offered 40M, why would we sell Stones? I can't see the boy being disruptive either.

If anything I expect the club to be very active this window and come September 1 for us to have our best Premier League squad ever. We are on the rise!

Stones has 4 years on his contract left , we dont need the money and we wont buy better.

The club has to make a statement of intent and refuse any offer for stones (and lukaku deulofeu barkley coleman mccarthy besic galloway browning garbutt) . to sell our young promising players will only prove the club has absolutely no ambition.

If we keep him and stones wants to stay , it puts everton in a good light and shows that our club is going places. Doing it the proper way too , not just buying success.

If he does go , even if its silly money , I think kenwrights position as chairman would be untenable.

New to Bill's Everton are you?

Can,t see the lad at this early stage of his development having his head turned, (Please God) .But on the off chance a deal can be thrashed out you can be sure the canny Bill from the boys pen will get top price.
Say what you want about our luvvy chairman, but i bet he,s ruthless around the table.
Whoever gets John Stones, either now or next transfer window will be made Pay.

He's going unless he himself decides he doesn't want Chelsea.

Question now is, how much of the £30m will Martinez be allowed to spend?

Bit harsh I think.

Every club are selling clubs these days. Apart from the money bags teams like Chelsea, Utd and city. Don't kid yourselves the sky money has changed that. Made it easier to keep players longer and get the fee you want? Yes...but be able to keep players at all costs? No!

The 20M offer means nothing! There just setting the wheels in motion. If Chelsea want stones unfortunately they will get him. It's just a question of when and the final fee.

IMO we will just about be able to keep hold of him this summer. I don't think the kid is desperate to leave, and playing week in week out here will appeal to him more.

But next summer the lure of big money, CL football, playing for Jose Moiriniho and most likely JT taking a back seat will be too much to resist unfortunately.

We already held our ground with Baines

I'd be amazed if we sold him this summer. Apart from the fact it would totally screw up our season, it just wouldn't make business sense to. Whatever they were willing to offer this season you could add at least £10m to it in a year and you could add another £10m to it when he's England's first choice CB which he surely will be within 2 years. With 4 years left on his contract it would be stupid to sell him. He's first choice as well so he won't be in a big rush to leave.
