John Stones transfer saga

At this stage in his career game time is more important than anything and he'll get a hell of a lot more of that here than at Chelsea, which I think will ultimately be the deciding factor in us keeping hold of him this summer. He's not like that crying pissweasel Sterling.

If you get into Mourinho's inner circle at Chelsea then you are practically guaranteed a place in every game. Supposedly Cahill has been kicked out so there's a spot up for grabs

I'm no Kenwright fan, but he's in his element here. No one will do him over, even for pennies, so I expect that Stones will stay.

I refuse to talk about the chances of our best CB getting sold, when we are having a hard enough time finding a replacement for the two that have already left.

:locked:

None of us want to lose him but at what price would you sell....30,35,40??

I personally would take 35m, imagine what we could do with that.

I think Bobbys greatest achievement is that he has tied down 3 phenomenally talented footballers (Ross, lukaku and stones) to long term contracts. I don't think he will sell any of these for anything less than £50M. I certainly wouldn't.

Buy Andy Carroll? Not a chance I'd take anything less than £45m. One of he best defenders in the pl, tied down to a long term contract and still only 20. He has to be worth at least 45

If ever there was a time we don't need to sell a player for big bucks it's now, the new TV deal means we do not need to sell anyone, especially someone on a 4 year contract who does not want to leave, the board needs to stop being sh!thouses and give Bobby 30m to invest this summer and lets have a sneaky look at a champs league place this season.

If stirling is worth 49m.

He's north of that.
