John Stones transfer saga

I'd of rather he put this request in months ago. Now we have 6 days to find a replacement and he's hardly gonna be a top centre back, and clubs will know we're desperate.

Left us right init the ungrateful twit, he could of been playing for Wigan.

If he doesn't want to play for us then **** him. Hard. Dry.

Hypocritical to get upset by it all really, We ripped Barnsley off big time for him like we did with Sligo for Coleman.

There's always a bigger fish and we are a halibut at best
And we never will be a shark if we sell our best players, it sends out the wrong message. I'd rather let his contract run down.

Well it's a huge week for the board. There's two scenarios where they could come out as heroes and gain the respect of even those who absolutely despise Kenwright and his henchmen.

First option is we keep him, thus legitimising the clubs and Martinez's proclaimed ambitions, and confirming that we are in fact not a selling club.

The other option is that they flog him for an obscene fee.

Lol @ the fume at Kenwright shouts, There are only a handful of clubs in the world where a player wouldn't hand in a transfer request to move to Chelsea at the present time.

No one complained when wevwere the big fish taking him off barnsley, still a top class player who i hope does well of he goes
I actually agree with this to an extent. I'm sad, but he's not a blue and a genuine contender for everything has come in for him. He's in a clear position to replace Terry both and Chelsea and for England.

I don't fault him wanting out, and if he goes I'll not hold it against him.

That said, I wouldn't sell him.

Stones in July this year:
"I am very happy at Everton," he told Sky Sports.
"My aim right now is to try to nail down a regular spot in this Everton team and hopefully that will take care of playing for England.
"I have to keep learning from the likes of Phil Jagielka and keep progressing at this club."

I may be in the minority, but I don't want players playing for the club if they don't want to be here.

We need focused individuals who are committed.

It's now about getting the best deal.
