London, better wages, its a no brainer for foreign players.

Costs about three times as much for a house. I'm not sure they can offer wages that make much of a difference, tbh. Prior to last season, only Chelski could compete with both manc clubs in the wages game.

I hope the conversation went like this "Give us everything you got for Bale or do one spuds"

I don't see Stones going anywhere for a while yet. And it certainly won't be to spurs.

John Stones will be the best there was. The best there is. The best there ever will be.

Sweet Jesus, its costs three times as much to buy a house in London. I think we best make a wrist band to raise money for these poor footballers in London.

Spurs spend a lot more money than us on wages, but they also make millions more from commercial deals. When they move to the new stadium in a few years they will commercially move further ahead and the gap with money will grow further.

Errr, what's your point mate? I don't recall expressing any sympathy, so your lame attempt at sarcasm has fallen flat on it's face.

Answer me this.... How much more money would a player have on £100k a week in London, compared to a player on 60k a week in the North West.....

3.2million pre tax compared to 5 million pre tax.

However the quality of life in the north west is pretty good. Its not too cold. Nice houses.

Plus he's from Yorkshire not London anyway.

Where is is now is really nice and he gets to play boss togger

It's a bad state of affairs when premiership footballers can't afford to live in London anymore.

I pray Bob Geldof can do a song for them.

Why buy a house in Liverpool when they can get more for there cash in Hull.

Stones signed a five-and-a-half-year deal with Everton on 31 January 2013, for a transfer fee reported to be in the region of £3 million.[5]

This means he's got 4 years left on his current deal. Don't know what anyone is panicking about.

They will probably offer him a new contract next summer or maybe January.

I got a warning for the language in this post?? Jesus christ you lot really mustn't have lives to worry about..

Yeah, I got a warning a few months ago for swearing, apparently it hurts "google ratings", which in turn hurts revenue, which is ridiculous. But, it's not my forum so I didn't complain....until now.

You're taking my words out of context mate. All I was saying was that a few extra grand in London, is not all it's cracked up to be.

We will offer him a new contract like the majority of players within our team. And, that's what will happen with the tv money, it will line the players and agents pockets. Like all the previous record breaking deals.

Ok, but a few extra grand in Liverpool, is not all its cracked up to be when they can be in Hull.

Seriously, Premiership players watching Kirstie and Phil on " Location Location Location" to make the most of there extreme wages is surreal.

I can imagine the players saying to the agent " Let me check estate agents in the area first before i sign that 100k per week contract"
