Yeah, agree with that. I think he underlined how he cant be a stand in for Coleman if he gets injured/suspended. They're chalk and cheese. If Oviedo comes back ok I'd rather have him over on that side, at least he knows the ropes.

He's stated in the past he can play right or left side. Stone's shows no aptitude for the attacking side of that position, atm.

Had he not got injured in the midweek game before the derby, I'm sure it would have been Oviedo who played at RB instead of Stones. He played at RW in the game before he got injured vs WBA.

Oviedo is much better suited as an attacking full back, left or right side. Stones is a natural centre half and should be first choice in that position. We've just had 11 years of square pegs in round holes, that's enough surely.

Yeah deffo has come on as sub as right back in a second half, struggling to remember the game. He should be ok there, it's not unheard of.

That's my concern. If he plays well, Hodgson will think it's a great idea. One bad game and the press will suddenly forget that he's still young and played out of position.
