I just saw it say 3 games on SSN. I'm obviously going to believe the club on this one then but still, this needs to be made clearer.
Here you go mate..

As mentioned by our esteemed fellow member @chicoazul earlier....bad news...

'Article 22
22.07 The definition of a straight red card is a sending off offence without the player prior receiving a yellow card caution. Such offences are covered in 31.04 and the tariff is an automatic three game suspension from the next game onwards.'

And it gets worse...

'For the record Premier League games don't count, different competition, so the three game ban has to be served in European competition effectively ruling out Stones until the quarter finals, should we make it.

Big blow.'

But wait, there's more...

'If we appeal it then he will automatically miss two games in the Prem Lge too lads.'

This tragedy warrants one of these...

Never heard of a 3 match ban for that kind of sending off. According to the rules it is a minor kind of red card exactly as 2 yellow cards.

he sort of grabbed his crotch and was eyeballing some female shop assistant

then he pushed over one of the display dummies and ran upstairs to foot asylum shouting "where's the hummels"

Gunner get a load of stick but I'm not having him at all. The lads slow, and by slow I don't mean pace. Bobby Moore had no pace but could read and think faster than most. Stones hasn't got that and against class he will always be found out. We seem to be falling into the modern trap of calling every player who's half decent world class ( Barkley Coleman Garbutt Mirallas ) He looks great at times bringing the ball out and that but these lapses you will see time and time again against the quickest thinkers and class acts. Just you watch.

How many other 20 year old CB's in this league do you know of putting in the type of performance's Stones has?

Is this in reference to the Arsenal match? Wasnt he going against Sanchez for most of the match? Would think that almost any defender would be made to look a bit silly against him most of the time.

This is surely some kind of sick joke, right?

We should keep building our players up, the media loves it and we get inflated transfer fees ;)

Stones is the real deal though. He'll be making mistakes and having games like yesterday for a while to come but that's par for course when playing a youngster in that position. His reading of the game will come with experience, don't worry.
