Can't see us keeping him, man u and Jose will bid for him in the summer and stones will be happy to leave, well he will run to Man u. He had an unhappy season with the football and the Everton fans

Here we go again. At least this time they are nice enough to write...

"City are increasingly confident they will be able to land the £40m-rated England defender if Everton do decide to sell this summer."

City are set to launch a bid for Stones this summer
Big-spending Manchester City have jumped to the front of the queue of clubs in for John Stones.

City are increasingly confident they will be able to land the £40m-rated England defender if Everton do decide to sell this summer.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona are all keeping tabs on the 21-year-oldwho was involved in an ugly transfer battle last summer.

Everton refused to sell him despite Chelsea making a record £37m bid but they will face another battle in the next window.

because they are already facing losing top scorer Romelu Lukaku.

Manchester United, Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and Bayern Munich are all watching developments and, even though Everton will want around £65m, the fans will be furious if they lose their prize assets.

We have let so many goals in this season with stones in defense that I think selling him for 40+ and buying a good proven defender for 20m and then putting the remaining (plus other cash) towards a top striker would be fine. And I bet we let in less goals less season if this happens.

Moyes ruined good strikers... Martinez ruins good defenders....

We could have Puyol in his prime and still leak goals like a sieve. That will never change as long as Martinez is here

very much this, jags was part of watertight defenses before, he's in double figures this season for mistakes that have led to goals

Like Lukaku, i think a certain calibre of manager will make the pair of them stay. Appoint another 'up and coming' and they'll both swerve it as the up and coming clearly doesnt work.

Not sure that is correct, tbh. Moyes had many faults but he left us in a far better state than he found us.

For 40m I would sell Stones and try to replace him with Keane from Burnley.
Unfortunately the starting price for Stones this summer will be back to the 20m Jose started with last season.

He's awful right now and needs to move for the good of his career if Martinez stays, or we get a new manager and a fresh start.
