Well Cahill and smalling are favourite to start tbf plus he wanted out last season and he had a dreadful season. No wonder we want Koeman who dealt with this at Southampton when all the best players were sold.

Sure he meant putting himself forward so the England management need to make a tough choice about starters for the first euro game. No brainer for me he has to start, or teams will press England high and the other 2 donkeys will kick away possession every time.

...I'm a huge fan of this fella and was delighted with the stance the club took last summer but the reality is that it hasn't worked out for anybody. He hasn't signed a new contract offer so (in relative terms) he will be on much less than others in our squad let alone England's.

He has got to want to stay and at this point in time I can't see that happening.
