Laughing at all the louts wanting Stones to fail. People will always begrudge a successful young lad.
Jealousy. Get off of your fat arses and try and achieve something for yourselves other than trying to piss away last night's skid mark off the inside of the pan.

Don't have to directly lead to goals; his errors have a negative effect on the other defenders. Every time he twisted himself into knots had hearts in mouths around the stadium, and that anxiety became almost tangible towards the end.Could you critics itemise the mistakes he made last 'abysmal' season which cost us goals. I can think of about three incidents where

I'm disappointed that he doesn't get Everton, but he's a top talent and I wish him well.

Man city fans seem happy with him, [havent watched soccer am for years but seen this] lol
Everton's defence last season was an absolute shambles and John Stones can't be held responsible. I don't remember any improvement when he was out of the team. How many times did he 'twist himself in knots' as you describe it? Sliding tackles in your own area, dwelling on the ball just outside your own box, dribbling in congested areas, refusal to kick the ball into the stand or channels when under pressure. Bobby Moore is the best centre half we ever had, but he knew when to play and when to lump it.Everton's defence last season was an absolute shambles and John Stones can't be held responsible.
