His qualities are always being negated by his brainfarts. I wouldn't say he was tosh, I can very clearly see his qualities, but imo he was too much of a danger to bear.
I guess so. Always felt if he just lumped it though there wouldn't be a chance for a brainfart, gotta be honest I haven't watched city really this year though so I can't comment on his time there yet.
 


He fits like a glove, can't think of anything better to explain the impact he had so far. I don't think it was Martinez's instructions for John that were flawed, imo it was more of the setup that Martinez had with the midfield and defense that exposed him a lot more.

He still has lot of room to grow, but nothing that I have seen so far suggests that he cannot. I've heard some fellows last day complementing him as a hybrid between Terry and Pique.
 

I've been reluctant to comment on Stones in case it looks like gloating, but he has been absolutely wonderful since his first game. Another great performance from him tonight. He just looks so calm and composed for someone so young. I think it's fair to say he is flourishing under Pep.
