Well obviously - there has to be a mistake. But for somebody 'enbiggened' like him, nobody's going to include him in a poll for 'one of the 2 'best CB's in recent Everton history...except maybe in the option 'cheese covered John Stones on toast' part.
He's 'the Emperors new clothes' of CB's

Stones wouldn't even make our top twenty........he was and remains a defensive liability......

Will be class. He was a great prospect before Martinez ruined him. If he played for Mourinho or Conte he'd look unbelievable. He's had 2 managers who can't organise a defence though.

Was class today, been a little unlucky after a headline move to be thrown into that defence, had he spent a season playing alongside kompany it would be a different story, still it's been a harsh learning experience but one that could be the making of him and see him fullfill his potential and become a top player. I hope so as he's a joy to watch when on form, and I find the joy fellow evertonians seem to take in his struggles, fairly pathetic in all honesty

He believed his own hype for most of this season but has finally been grounded. He will kick on next season I'm sure.

He's been crap for most of this season though, blue tinted glasses or not.

He's not a midfield holding player or the best ball playing centre half of his generation though, despite what you may have heard.

We haven't missed him, can't really say we would be higher up the table if he had stayed at Everton, great business done by us, however in the summer we need 2 center backs and at least one of those who we bring in i would like to expect to be better then Stones is.

mostly it's just happiness that we got the good end of the deal. It's always gutting to see players who force a move out of the club go on to be more successful elsewhere.

agree 100%. if i would ever wish him to fail it would only be so we would have some chance of hetting him back
