Will be class. He was a great prospect before Martinez ruined him. If he played for Mourinho or Conte he'd look unbelievable. He's had 2 managers who can't organise a defence though.

You mean by playing him at a young age, allowing him to learn on the job before getting into the England team and a massive money move to Manchester City and all that comes with that?

He got progressively worse under Martinez. His natural talent was so good though that it was inevitable he'd always be on top clubs radars. When he first came into the team he was beating Peter Crouch in the air, he was positionslly brilliant. By the end he was absolutely all over the shop.

Opinions I suppose. Martinez can be slated for many things but Stones owes him a lot.

Personally I don't think he is that good. His ability on the ball is not good enough to mask his defensive flaws. Comfortable on the ball for a defender but he is hardly Beckenbaur/Sammer/Baresi etc.
