Well after reading exactly what they did say they definatly went too far and i can understand why Sachs would be pretty pissed off, wasn't as simple as "oh yeah i slept with your grandaughter".

To be honest, I prefer him to Ross. I saw an interview with him and in it, he wasn't trying to shock. He was actually reasonably funny, and quite thoughtful. So why he has to do the idiot act for laughs is beyond me. Ross, on the other hand, is just a [Poor language removed]. FACT.

BBC is one of the better channels, but the license fee simply isn't right and should be scrapped. Let them compete on their own merits like everyone else. The UK web industry in particular has suffered through the long arm of Auntie extending into every nook and cranny.

People do take offence all to easily these days though it must be said. Not a big fan of either of them but there are far bigger things to be worrying about right now than what those two plonkers are up to.

But Bruce, and I'm sure you'll agree with me on this first part, British people are effectively forced to pay the salaries of all BBC employees. So the least we can expect is a standard that goes beyond the gutter. In addition, both of these morons have been getting cheap laughs for way too long. If they were on teen TV or something, I wouldn't mind. But they're both prime time fare, so deserve any criticism that they get.
